What's your favorite vacation destination?
this is a tricksy answer because in all honesty, aside from all the fun-family vacations *cough* we took when i was a kid, i have only been on probably 2, 3 real vacations. one was my honeymoon to new orleans in '03 and i loved it there and wished we had more time to explore. another one was to catalina island (a few times) but these were when i was in highschool (but on my own with my grandparents). i love catalina, its been 10 years since my last trip there, but it still holds a place in my heart for being so beautiful and special. hopefully it hasn't changed much.
other vacations have been on the heals of a business trip, where i went alone or with my husband - orlando, san diego (although i've been there numerous times on solo trips to the grandparents for summers), and canada this past august. they were wonderful times, but not much vacationing as i had to work.
i would love to take a cruise - an alaskan one, crazy eh? i hate the heat and love the cold/snow so i think this would be perfect! i want to travel to the mediterranian as well. having visited many spots in europe as a child, my curiousity grows at the thought of returning as an adult with my own family.
I would also love to do Alaska's cruise. One of my friends did it 2 years ago and her pictures and stories are incredible.
